Honeymoon Adventure Prologue

Thank you to everyone who came to the wedding. We both had an amazing time! There will be a boat load of pictures to share...eventually.

With so much time spent working on the wedding we didn't really take much time to actually give the honeymoon trip any love. So, Monday saw us driving around town taking care of last minute details, purchasing the remaining items needed and really just wrapping things up before leaving the country.

Things still didn't really set into our minds as we were walking into the airport terminal for our flight to JFK. Barbara and I laughed at ourselves over the fact that we were preparing to fly across the country and leave it tomorrow and it hadn't really sunk in. I still have a little bit of detachment from the grandeur of the trip at the moment.

However, we have arrived in New York after an uneventful flight and are safely ensconced in our hotel room for the night. With us arriving at almost 9pm we really don't have much time to do any sight seeing this evening. Then we have to be at the airport by 2pm at the latest to catch our flight to Delhi. Not much tourism time there either. Looks like Barbara and I will have to come back in the future. We were going to have to anyway. I still have Albany on the list of capitols to visit and there are several NYC goals that Barbara has (Time Square at Christmas time, for example).

Tomorrow we leave the country...

  1. Have fun you guys! Hopefully your adventure sinks in sooner rather than later (and you don't have Flight of the Foot Redux). We look forward to the stories and the pictures!
